What does Toto Finance disclose? For every tokenized commodity product, Toto Finance publishes what the token represents, who holds the underlying commodity and under what legal terms, the verification reports behind it, periodic custodian attestations, a reconciliation of token supply against inventory, independent audit results and a record of redemptions. Tokens are issued only against verified assets and removed from circulation when the commodity is delivered, so token supply and inventory are designed to match at all times.

The disclosure standard

  1. Product definitionA plain-language statement of what one token represents: title to allocated cathode in a named facility, a beneficial interest in a segregated pool, or a contractual right to defined future production. The legal structure and the jurisdiction that governs it are named.
  2. VerificationFor refined metal: warehouse receipts or warrants, assay certificates and weight lists per lot. For reserves and future production: the current technical report by a qualified person under NI 43-101, JORC or SAMREC, the category of material the token is linked to, and the legal due diligence on title and production rights.
  3. CustodyThe custodian or warehouse, its location, the basis on which metal is held (segregated, for the benefit of holders, bankruptcy-remote from Toto Finance) and the insurance in place. Toto Finance never holds product metal on its own balance sheet.
  4. Custodian attestationA dated, signed statement from the custodian of the quantity, identification and location of metal held for token holders, published at least monthly.
  5. ReconciliationToken supply on-chain compared with attested inventory, published on the same schedule, with any temporary difference (metal in transit, redemptions in progress, tokens locked for redemption) explained line by line.
  6. Independent auditPeriodic verification of custodian records against physical inventory and of the legal segregation of the metal by a named independent firm, with scope and frequency disclosed.
  7. Redemptions and burnsA record of completed redemptions and the corresponding token burns, so that anyone can confirm that supply fell as metal left custody.
  8. Smart contract auditsIndependent security audits of every contract before deployment, with the report published.

What is published today

  • Smart contract audit. The Toto token contract was audited by Hacken, with the audit completed on January 27, 2025 and findings remediated. New contracts are audited before deployment.
  • Retail marketplace. Product terms, custody arrangements and redemption procedures for the assets on Toto Finance's retail marketplace (live since 2023, more than 45,000 physically backed assets, physical redemptions executed) are disclosed within the marketplace at app.totofinance.co.
  • Copper Now, Copper in Future and Copper Yield. In development. Verification reports, custody terms, custodian attestations, reconciliations and audit results for each product will be published on this page from launch, on the schedule above.

How to read the evidence

Five questions separate strong disclosure from weak. Is the metal specific and identified? Is it held by an independent custodian, for holders, away from the issuer's balance sheet? Who checks it, and how often? Does on-chain supply match attested inventory? And what happens if something is wrong? Proof of reserves for tokenized commodities answers each in detail and explains the documents involved.

Reporting a discrepancy

Anyone who believes a published figure is inaccurate can report it through the Contact page with "General" as the inquiry type. Reports are acknowledged and investigated, and corrections are published on this page with the date of the correction.
