Last Friday, October 2, we were invited to the New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street. During the visit, our Founder and Chairman Monty C. M. Metzger recorded a short interview directly on the NYSE trading floor about the future of tokenization and what we call the Three Waves of Tokenization: Money, Markets and Matter. Within days, the video passed 500,000 views on X. The timing could hardly have been more relevant.
Tokenized Stocks Move Closer to Wall Street
The NYSE has already announced plans to develop a regulated platform for tokenized securities, with 24/7 trading, blockchain-based settlement, fractional trading and stablecoin-based funding (Intercontinental Exchange).
Then this week, while much of the digital asset industry gathered in Singapore for TOKEN2049, Intercontinental Exchange, the parent company of the NYSE, and OKX moved forward with plans for a new platform for tokenized U.S. stocks. The proposed venue has been designed around round-the-clock trading and stablecoin settlement, subject to regulatory approval (Fortune).
For us, that makes the conversation filmed on the NYSE floor even more timely.
The shift is becoming visible: blockchain is moving deeper into mainstream financial market infrastructure.
From Tokenized Stocks to Tokenized Copper
Our view is that tokenized equities are only part of the opportunity.
At Toto Finance, we are focused on the next frontier: tokenized commodities.
We are starting with copper and building infrastructure designed to connect real-world commodities with digital ownership, stablecoin settlement, financing and global capital.
The challenge is very different from creating another digital token. Physical assets require verification, custody, title, insurance, warehouses, settlement and redemption. All of those pieces need to work together if tokenization is going to create meaningful infrastructure for commodity markets.
That complexity is precisely why we find the opportunity so compelling.
Financial markets have already spent decades becoming electronic. Many parts of global commodity trade still depend on fragmented systems, intermediaries and documents moving between parties.
We believe there is significant room to modernize that infrastructure. See products and how Toto Finance works.
New York, Singapore and a Fast-Moving Tokenization Market
The NYSE visit came at the end of an intense period for our team.
In a matter of weeks, we moved from the Wyoming Global Technology Summit in Jackson Hole, to Mining Forum Americas, to meetings in New York and the NYSE, and then on to Singapore for TOKEN2049.
At the same time, our audience has expanded. The NYSE video passed 500,000 views, while our recent Beluga conversation from Wyoming has approached 800,000 views.
We are humbled by that reach. More importantly, it tells us that the conversation around tokenization is widening rapidly.
Wall Street is building tokenized market infrastructure. Crypto is moving deeper into real-world assets. Institutional investors are paying closer attention to blockchain-based ownership and settlement.
At Toto Finance, we are working to make commodities part of that new financial architecture.
The broader thesis is also at the center of Monty's new book, Tokenization: Capital for Humanity, which explores how digital ownership could reshape markets ranging from financial securities to copper and other physical resources. The book is published worldwide on October 10, 2026 (Tokenization: Capital for Humanity).
